This
was a fun project. When I do a mural like this, I feel that I am
making my client's dream come true. We started out with an idea
for the rolling country hills, and every day my client would tell
me what they wanted me to add. I added hot air balloons, a hummingbird,
grazing horses...whatever they wanted. These were little personal
symbols that added meaning to my client's project.

My
client had added a tropical waterfall to their garden. They asked
me to create a layer of foliage behind it to surround it and make
the garden more cohesive. The 3 dimensional effect on the wall really
gives a feeling of depth to this piece.

My
client had just remodeled this room, adding pink marble flooring.
She had traveled to India to study with Guru Mai at her ashram there
and was so moved by the experience that she had me paint the courtyard
of the ashram in her home as a reminder of the beauty and serenity
of her trip. The addition of paintable sconces greatly enhances this
piece at night.
